How to Request Data Deletion

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by Grand Gather Registry.

Methods to Submit a Request

You may request deletion of your data through any of the following methods:

1. Email: Send an email to info@grandgatherregistry.co.za with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
2. WhatsApp: Send a message to +27 61 391 1942 requesting data deletion.
3. Contact Form: Visit our Contact page and submit a data deletion request.

Information to Include

To process your request, please include:

• Your full name
• The email address or phone number associated with your account
• A clear statement that you wish to delete your data

What Happens Next

We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days, as required by POPIA. You will receive confirmation once your data has been permanently deleted from our systems.

What Gets Deleted

Upon verification of your request, we will delete:

• Your account profile and registration information
• Event data associated with your account
• Photos and media you have uploaded
• Guest lists and RSVP records
• Vendor registration and gallery data (if applicable)

Certain information may be retained if required by law (e.g., financial transaction records under SA tax law).
